This past weekend provided some beautiful Colorado weather which I hope you all were able to get out and enjoy.
In the real estate world, showing activity was good with many buyers still out looking at all price points.
We listed 806 W Mulberry on Friday and I hosted an open house on Sunday, which in lieu of the construction zone out front of the house, produced 5 visitors. We also put 129 N Whitcomb under contract and are very excited about 3147 Worthington coming on the market this week.
The market continues to be a strong seller’s market. We did see rates tick up a bit but they are still historically low around 4%. I remember buying my first property in the Chicagoland area with a loan at 12% interest!
Please check out our website in the coming weeks as it is almost complete thanks to Syl DeLeon and we will continually post upcoming listings and community events.
Speaking of community events….this weekend is what I consider the kick off for fun summer time festivals in Old Town Fort Collins and one of my favorites! The Taste of Fort Collins starts Friday, June 7, with some awesome live music in Civic Center Park and throughout the weekend.
I am volunteering at the SOCO Bacardi Booth on Friday evening so stop by and see me! I am volunteering for the Child Advocacy Center of Fort Collins and some of the proceeds will benefit the CAC. The Friday night event is open to the public for a cost of $5 with net proceeds once again benefiting Special Olympics Larimer County and Kiwanis Club International.
Visit Taste of Fort Collins for more information on events for the weekend and purchasing tickets.
