Say goodbye to 2014 and hello to 2015! Be sure to check out these local events to help bring in the New Year with a bang. Fort Collins offers a wide range of events accommodating all ages.
This family-friendly, non-alcoholic event features music and dancing. This is a great way to do something with the kids, as they love the fireworks and the special kids countdown that First Night features. $12/person admission covers all 15 venues and children 4-and-under are free!
In one of the best beer towns in the world, considering a brewery for New Year’s Eve is a totally fun idea. The Fort Collins Brewery is hosting this event with a 1920s costume contest, casino games, and a midnight champagne toast. Obviously, their brews will be on tap, and hors d’ouvres so if you are a fan of FCB, this could be your spot for NYE. The event starts at 6pm, $65/person.
The Hilton Fort Collins is offering special packages with rooms and dinner with acoustic guitar music from Shaefer Welsh. There will be a champagne toast at midnight and this will be a laid back and casual evening.Room and dinner is $169, just dinner is $60/couple.
Walk downstairs to one of Fort Collins classiest joints, Ace Gillette’s. You’ll hear the jazzy sound of the Subterranean Jazz Quartet, and for this special event they are likely to have guest singers and players to enhance the sound. Entrance fee is $45/person, which includes a champagne toast and party favors. (Additional food and drinks are available for purchase)
The Cactus is Greeley’s party spot, so New Year’s there will be hopping. Country and cowgirls, cold beers and cowboys, and a brand new year will come in with a splash at the Canyon.$2 longnecks until 9pm, a champagne toast and party favors.
The Boot Grill’s New Year’s Eve Extravaganza is an exclusive ticketed event with the Sean Curtis Band. They are selling a few different packages and you can stop by or call them to get all the info. 970-685-4737
Bulls, broncs, bustin’, ropin’, you know the drill. They’ve been bringing in the New Year with rodeo for almost ten years, so if you are in the mood for a summer feeling in the midst of the coldest days of the year, check out the Budweiser Events Center.
