Audra Rose has been locally owned and operated since 1982 and has been owned by Ashley for the past 7 years. She said their “busiest time of the year by far is Valentine’s Day”, which is to be expected, followed closely by Mother’s Day. Their busy season for the floral shop is from December, with all of the festive holidays, and extends through July, because of wedding work.

Being locally owned and considered a small business in Fort Collins is rewarding, as well as challenging.One of the biggest challenges Ashley and her staff faces are the rising costs of operating and the competition from larger stores, including supermarkets. She doesn’t let that get her down though because she strives to give the customers the best experience possible by making them feel comfortable and at ease when walking through the door. She states, “it is important for customers to know that we are here to help guide them to the best product for their needs.”
