FOOTHILLS MALL UPDATE
The City of Fort Collins released their Foothills Mall Newsletter on Tuesday (February 17th) with an update regarding the demolition of the mall:
“Demolition began today on the former Sears building at Foothills Mall – the last major piece of the main mall building to come down. Demolition on Sears is expected to continue through mid-March. The only retail buildings left to be demolished are the Ross and Chico’s buildings on the perimeter of the site. Those buildings will not come down until their replacements are built in early 2016. Construction of the new Sears building is complete on College Avenue; at this time, it is unknown when the building will be occupied.”
